Get involved with your community and stay active at the same time! This event is for all ages and fitness levels to come together for a day of fun and exercise for a worthy cause. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, there’s a place for you at the Fun Run event.
Adult race fee is $20, children under 12 race for free. Registration begins at 9 am and run begins promptly at 10 am.
Your Support for the United Way Spring Fun Run 5K benefits all of Rutland County through United Way’s Community Impact Grants and Targeted Impact Programs.Your participation helps our Community Impact Grants team to partner with 14 agencies providing funding to 16 different programs.
Campaign fundraising dollars also support our Targeted Impact priorities through Happy Feet, a shoe replacement program and Welcome to Winter, a free hat and mitten program; both of which partner with all schools throughout Rutland County.
On race day, you will have the opportunity to visit with representatives from United Way partner agencies and learn about United Way’s targeted impact and community impact programs.
About the United Way of Rutland County:
The United Way of Rutland County (UWRC) is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the common good, focusing on health, education and financial stability for Rutland County since 1943. UWRC collaborates with other community organizations, partner with businesses, teams with service delivery organizations and joins forces with dedicated leaders and volunteers to solve community needs that affect families and children, assuring a community-wide services infrastructure.
